Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman and his wife Chelsea have pledged $100,000 each to the Pasadena Fire Department, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the Salvation Army.
The total donated amount is $300,000, as per ESPN’s MLB analyst Jeff Passan, who tweeted:
“Good deeds by good people: Los Angeles Dodgers star Freddie Freeman and his wife, Chelsea, are donating $300,000 — $100,000 each to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, the Pasadena Fire Department and the Salvation Army — for wild-fire relief efforts in Los Angeles.”

Chelsea Freeman had pledged to raise fund for Pasadena Humane, which is a non-profit organization promoting compassion and care for all stray animals. The caption in her social media story read:
“@pasadenahumane is where our kitty Champ was before he was fostered and then adopted by us. They have been working tirelessly taking in and treating hundreds of animals who have been rescued (many with burns) from the fires. 😭 ❤️ “

Besides Freddie Freeman and his wife, Dodgers utility player Chris Taylor and his wife Mary began a fundraiser, matching donations upro $5000 via the CT3 Foundation to support the LA Fire Department Foundation who are battling the raged California wildfires.
The Dodgers organization released a satement expressing their widespread concern for those affected by the LA fires and voiced their gratitude towards the relief efforts by the Fire Departments by various counties around LA.
“The players, front office and staff of the Dodgers are absolutely heartbroken over the devastation of the fires in and around Los Angeles. We are working closely with community partners and impacted areas and look forward to announcing more about our immediate efforts and our ongoing work in the coming days.
“We are grateful to all first responders who have been on the front lines of this tragedy, and we grieve with the thousands of families who have lost their homes and possessions, including those within the Dodgers organization.”

The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, which is the home of UCLA Bruins football team has become the makeshift donation center for those affected by the LA wildfires.

“They are accepting donations at Rose Bowl in lot I. I believe there is a resident only curfew 6pm-6am so keep those hours in mind.”

Many ballplayers alongside their families and the MLB foundation are working trirelessly to provide valuable donations for relief efforts to those affected by this ordeal.
