Fernando Tatis Jr. drops 2-word reaction to Robinson Cano’s Diablos going public at Mexican Bolsa (Source – Getty)
Fernando Tatis Jr. is one of the most popular stars in the Dominican baseball fraternity. Robinson Cano, who enjoyed a seventeen-year career in MLB, was just as popular during his heyday.
Cano now plies his trade in the Mexican Baseball League for the Diablos Rojos del Mexico. The club, owned by billionaire businessman Alfredo Harp Helú, went public at the Mexican Stock Exchange, popularly known as Mexican Bolsa, on Thursday.
Cano shared the news via an Instagram post on the same day:
“It is an honor to be able to accompany my family from [Diablos Rojos del Mexico] on this important day, congratulations on your listing on the [Mexican Bolsa]. May God always bless Don Alfredo Harp Helú and his entire family. 🔔👹 ” (Translated from Spanish)
Fernando Tatis dropped a two-word comment on the post, which elicited a response from Cano.
“Viva México.” (Roughly translated: Long Live Mexico) – Tatis commented.
“que viva” (Roughly translated: May he live) – Cano responded.

Fernando Tatis Jr.’s brother drops 1-word reaction to Padres superstar’s golfing skills
Fernando Tatis Jr. turned 26 on January 2. His mother, Maria, shared a video of the birthday celebration, captioning the post with a heartfelt tribute.
The next day, Tatis Jr. shared a video post on his Instagram, showcasing his golfing skills. While not proficient, Tatis Jr. successfully rocketed the ball away with impressive force in the clip. He sported a long-sleeved tee, track pants and white shoes, topped off with a playful cowboy hat.
Funnily enough, Tatis Jr. added his signature flair to the moment by tossing the golf club away in a motion strikingly similar to his bat flips after hitting a home run. The Padres star captioned the post:
“Birthday Hacks & Sunsets 🦦🌅”
Tatis Jr.’s younger brother, Elijah, dropped a one-word reaction to the post.
“Disfruta” (Roughly translated: Enjoy) – Elijah commented.

Tatis Jr. and the Padres gave the Dodgers, the eventual World Series champions of 2024, a run for their money in the NLDS. Several Boys in Blue later said that the NLDS against the Padres was more difficult than the World Series against the New York Yankees.
Fernando Tatis Jr. shone as the Padres’ best performer during the postseason. Across seven games, the dynamic outfielder hit four home runs and drove in seven RBIs, with an impressive .423 batting average.
Tatis Jr. missed 59 regular-season games due to an injury in his right femur that occurred in June. He will be aiming for a stronger and healthier campaign in the upcoming campaign.
