Katrina Kaif once opened up about her relationships with Alia and Deepika, and it is a testament to her class

Now, Ranbir’s ex, Katrina Kaif has also found love in Vicky Kaushal, but there was a time when her relationship was one of “discomfort” with Ranbir’s ex Deepika Padukone, whom he dated before Katrina. In 2019, Katrina delved deep into her relationship with Ranbir’s then-girlfriend Alia Bhatt, and his ex Deepika Padukone. Here is what she said.

Katrina Kaif has always been graceful. Even in her very public breakup with Ranbir Kapoor, she always maintained her dignity when answering invasive questions, And this was proved yet again in an Elle interview from 2019 when she answered questions about her equation with the girls in ex-Ranbir’s life.

When asked about her relationship with Alia Bhatt, whom Ranbir was dating at that time, and Deepika Padukone, with whom there were reports of animosity, Katrina replied, “It comes from realizing that these things don’t matter. Me holding on to resentment or a grudge isn’t going to change the situation. It boils down to logic. But I’m human. Yeah, I feel bad, I cry. I feel devastated. And then, I get back up and say, it’s fine. Something’s coming, something’s coming. As for the uncomfortable equation I once had with Deepika… I just react to instinct. I don’t feel that animosity or discomfort between us anymore. I felt happy to let that go.”

In 2018, Katrina also attended Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding reception. Deepika, like Katrina Kaif, had been very dignified in her response about the alleged rivalry, clarifying that they had both moved on from the controversies that once surrounded them, “A lot of water has flown under the bridge. For me, just the fact that she came and was very present was gracious.”

“I’ve always been fond of her. You know, just the way that she’s been over the years, and with her work and I have a lot of respect for that. I made my peace with her,” Deepika had further said.

And, it seems the comradery between the two has continued to date, with Katrina Kaif and Deepika posed for a photo with their husbands at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding.
