An ex-employee of World Wrestling Entertainment blew the top off the wrestling organization after she accused the company’s boss, Vince McMahon, of s*xually trafficking her to entice wrestling talent.
Janel Grant accused WWE co-founder Vince McMahon, the WWE, and former company executive John Laurinaitis of s*x trafficking, physical and emotional abuse, s*xual assault, and negligence in a lawsuit. The lawsuit claims Grant was offered a job by Vince in 2019 which quickly became dependent on a s*xual relationship with McMahon. Despite her initial pushback, Grant felt coerced into the relationship.
Grant alleges that leaked texts reveal a deeply troubling pattern of behavior during McMahon’s tenure as chief executive.
The text messages pressured her into engaging in intimate activities with other men, including former WWE head of talent John Laurinaitis. She stated the messages painted a disturbing picture of her experiences under McMahon’s leadership.
The first messages are from February 5, 2021, where McMahon directed Ms. Grant to arrange a schedule for other men to engage in intimate activities with her.
Around March 6, 2021, a second threesome involving McMahon, Laurinaitis, and Ms. Grant took place.

McMahon wrote: ‘Do U promise to make me proud Baby? Will U show him what a Porno Star U can B. Will U Show Off for me like never before ????’ and ‘On days when he’s in town, I want him to f— U every morning and later In the office too.’
In May 2021, McMahon reminded Ms. Grant via message that a mistake could jeopardize her career.
Then came his most explicit text message, where he talks about Grant engaging in explicit s*xual acts with three black men until she passes out.

According to the legal case, Ms Grant went on to work at WWE’s headquarters in Connecticut between 2019 and 2022.
WWE is the world’s largest and best-known wrestling company as it just announced last week it signed a deal with Netflix to allow pro wrestling’s most popular weekly show, WWE Raw, to be exclusively streamed from January 2025.
In the meantime, Mr. McMahon’s spokesperson said the case was “replete with lies” and his client would “vigorously defend himself”.
