USHER & JA MORANT’S FATHER REALIZE THEY’RE LONG-LOST ‘TWINS’ AT MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES PLAYOFF GAME

The collab basketball fans were waiting for finally took place Tuesday night (April 26) courtside at the FedEx Forum.
Usher and Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant’s father, Tee Morant, were seated next to each other rocking nearly identical outfits when they were put on the Lookalike Cam’s jumbotron during the Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves’ first-round playoff game.

Everyone had jokingly been making the comparisons in the past, so Usher had to pull up and enjoyed a great view of a thrilling Game 5 comeback victory with Ja Morant leading the Grizzlies past the Wolves 111-109.

“Had to See What the Hype was about,” Usher wrote.

Fans had a ton of fun with the link-up on social media, leading to Usher trending on Twitter during the game “Now that’s what I call Raymond V Raymond,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Memphis native Juicy J enjoyed himself after the huge win and hopped into the Grizzlies’ Instagram comment section as well, writing, “I herd usher had stock in the grizz that’s a smart mane go grizzz I need some stock. Great game mane y’all killed it I got wasted after the game that’s why I’m still up in yo comments.”

Ja Morant scored the Grizzlies’ final 13 points — including a game-winning layup and this ferocious dunk — to power an incredible comeback as he finished with a team-high 30 points and one assist shy of a triple-double.

The scene shifts back to Minnesota for Game 6 on Friday (April 29) where Memphis will look to close out the series.
