Imagem Films Mx, la distribuidora de cine independiente, lanza un nuevo tráiler y fecha de estreno de la esperada cinta de “Hellboy: The Crooked Man”. Cabe recordar que la saga en cine comenzó hace 20 años con la película “Hellboy” dirigida por el mexicano Guillermo del Toro, así como protagonizada por el actor Ron Perlman.
En esta entrega de “Hellboy: The Crooked Man”, Jack Kesy asume el papel del héroe y la trama tiene lugar en la década de los años 50, mostrando a Hellboy adentrarse en un entorno misterioso donde tendrá que lidiar con una comunidad embrujada. Con ese filme, se zanjó la posibilidad de que Guillermo del Toro filmara la tercera parte de Hellboy.
La nueva adaptación ha sido calificada como R, por lo que será una versión más violeta y sangrienta. De esta forma, será la segunda película de esta saga en recibir esta clasificación después de la película de 2019.
Con Jack Kesy (Intruders, Sin remordimientos, Deadpool 2) al frente del reparto, la película también cuenta con la participación de Jefferson White (Yellowstone) como Tom Ferrell, Adeline Rudolph (Resident Evil), Leah McNamara (Vikingos) y Joseph Marcell (Mad Men).
