Taylor Swift was spotted wearing a Shania Twain t-shirt earlier this week and some fans have suggested that it could be a message amid rumours of a romance with Travis Kelce

It’s been teased that Taylor Swift may have been sending a message to Travis Kelce through one of her outfit choices this week, amid ongoing rumours that the pair are dating.

The singer-songwriter, 33, is rumoured to be dating NFL player Travis, 33. The speculation has been fuelled by her attending some of his games, including over the weekend. The pair have been spotted together on a few occasions.

Some of their fashion choices have also been interpreted as supporting rumours of a romance. This included Travis reportedly wearing a two-piece outfit recently that’s said to have been merchandise related to her album 1989.

It’s been suggested that Taylor may have worn an outfit with Travis in mind during an outing this week. She was spotted in New York City on Tuesday wearing a dark t-shirt and a pair of shorts, which she accompanied with some trainers.

The t-shirt featured artwork for Shania Twain’s song Any Man of Mine, which was released in 1995. The t-shirt, that Taylor is believed to have worn during a recording session, featured a photo of Shania and the title of the single.

The lyrics of the song, which was co-written by Shania and appeared on her second album the Woman in Me, detail the qualities that she seeks in a partner. It includes him accepting her indecisiveness and being complimentary.

The chorus states: “Any man of mine better walk the line. Better show me a teasin’, squeezin’, pleasin’ kinda time. I need a man who knows how the story goes. He’s gotta be a heartbeatin’, fine treatin’, breathtakin’, earthquakin’ kind.”

It’s been suggested that Taylor may have been sending a message with the reference. One person wrote on social media: “Any Man of Mine t-shirt? She knows how to send a message.” They also said: “She’s sending a message. Listen to the song.”

Someone replied to the latter comment: “I know the song and dang Travis better be paying attention.” Whilst another person speculated on social media this week: “Any man of mine had better walk the line….. hear that, Travis?”

One fan said alongside a laughing emoji: “The ‘Any Man of Mine’ t-shirt. She is ready to own this man.” Another then suggested it was a message, with them teasing: “The shirt is sending a punch on the face not so hidden message.”

Others however suggested that Taylor wearing the t-shirt may have been teasing a collaboration between her and Shania, or she may have simply been paying homage to her. Taylor is believed to be a longtime fan of Shania and has previously suggested that she’s been influenced by her.
