It’s almost time for the 2023 Billboard Music Awards!
On Thursday, Dick Clark Productions and Billboard unveiled the complete list of finalists for the 2023 BBMAs, and this year’s leading artist is Taylor Swift, who’s up in 20 categories.
The “Karma” singer is followed by Morgan Wallen and SZA, who are tied for the second-most nods with 17 each. Meanwhile, The Weeknd appears in 16 categories, Drake is a finalist in 14 categories, and Zach Bryan is up for 13 awards.

Artists up for their first-ever Billboard Music Awards at the upcoming ceremony include Bailey Zimmerman, Coi Leray, Fifty Fifty, Fuerza Regida, Grupo Frontera, Jelly Roll, Ice Spice, Metro Boomin, NewJeans, Peso Pluma and Oliver Anthony Music.
Additionally, this year’s show introduces nine new categories: top Hot 100 songwriter, top Hot 100 producer, top rock duo/group, top global K-pop artist, top K-pop tour, top K-pop album, top global K-pop song, top Afrobeats artist and top Afrobeats song.
The 2023 Billboard Music Awards, presented by Marriott Bonvoy, will air Nov. 19 on BBMAs.watch. Performances and winners will be shared via the awards show’s social media channels during the show. The full list of artists taking the stage to perform at the ceremony will be announced daily starting Nov. 6.
