Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic has earned the reputation around the league as being a notorious whiner, who is constantly working the referees in order to get calls. Although trying to get calls to go your way from the refs is something most great players do, many fans and players around the league seem to be annoyed by the way Doncic goes about it.

Earlier this week, the Mavericks hosted the Raptors and Doncic did something that probably will not be helping him get any calls from one particular referee. While chasing a loose ball and trying to save it from going out-of-bounds, Luka dove and for seemingly no one reason, decided to take out the female referee who was standing on the baseline.

Although Luka was clearly falling out of bounds while playing the ball, the action to lift his right arm and take down the referee seemed completely inappropriate and something that should have been avoided. After seeing the takedown, many took to social media to troll Doncic and here are some of the best reacions:

Over the last several seasons, Doncic has been among the league leaders in technical fouls. Last season, Luka finished the season tied for third with 17 technical fouls, the season before that he tied for second with 18 and the year before that he once again tied for second with 17 techs. A player receives a one-game suspension once they receive their 16th tech of the season.

So far early on in the season Doncic has received two technicals, so he is once again on pace to be among the league leaders in a category you definitely do not want to lead the league.
