Spears is back in WWE

WWE has teased a mysterious Superstar during NXT for the past few weeks. Now, we know who that is, and it is a returning star as the former Tye Dillinger is back under WWE’s umbrella.

On tonight’s edition of NXT, the mystery man was finally revealed to be Shawn Spears, formerly known as Tye Dillinger in WWE. He initially began his career in WWE before moving to Tony Khan’s AEW, where he performed under his real name.

After weeks of mysterious vignettes, the mystery reached its conclusion when Ridge Holland was in the ring, having previously dismissed NXT Women’s champion Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley and addressing recent events in the black and gold brand.

Suddenly, the lights went out, another message echoed throughout the arena, and Shawn Spears appeared hooded inside the ring. He then proceeded to knock out Holland with a chair, revealing himself, to the shock and surprise of the entire WWE Universe.
