In the aftermath of the recent firing incident outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, many speculated about the fate of the actor’s film shoot schedule. Amidst rumours of possible delays owing to the death threats, the actor’s father has stepped up to address the rumours.

According to the latest reports, Salman has no plans to stay behind closed doors.

Fans can expect to see the actor back on the film sets to continue his work commitments. In a statement to India Today, Salim Khan assured that his son remains undeterred by the threat to his life. “There is nothing to fear,” Salim said to the portal, adding that the matter is now with the police. He further added that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure Salman’s safety.

Just hours after the shooting that sent shockwaves through the film industry, Salim made a bold statement brushing aside the attack as nothing more than a ‘publicity stunt’ by the gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, who in a Facebook post, took accountability for the attack.
