Salman Khan's film shoot schedule NOT INTERRUPTED by firing incident; security measures put in place

In the aftermath of the recent firing incident outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, many speculated about the fate of the actor’s film shoot schedule. Amidst rumours of possible delays owing to the death threats, the actor’s father has stepped up to address the rumours.
According to the latest reports, Salman has no plans to stay behind closed doors.

Fans can expect to see the actor back on the film sets to continue his work commitments. In a statement to India Today, Salim Khan assured that his son remains undeterred by the threat to his life. “There is nothing to fear,” Salim said to the portal, adding that the matter is now with the police. He further added that adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure Salman’s safety.

Just hours after the shooting that sent shockwaves through the film industry, Salim made a bold statement brushing aside the attack as nothing more than a ‘publicity stunt’ by the gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, who in a Facebook post, took accountability for the attack.

Meanwhile, Salman, who has been granted additional armed security guards for his safety, is gearing up to shoot for his next movie ‘Sikandar’. According to the latest reports, music composer Pritam Chakraborty has been roped in as the music director for the film that will be directed by AR Murugadoss. The movie that is slated for an Eid 2025 release was announced by Salman in a post that read, “Agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo”. Eid Mubarak to all!”
Additionally, Salman is also gearing up for the third season of Bigg Boss OTT, as announced in an official post. The actor is set to return as the host for the popular reality show.

As far as the shooting incident is concerned, two individuals, Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21), were apprehended in Gujarat’s Kutch late Monday night, with police confirming their affiliation with gangster Lawrance Bishnoi’s group. Then men were handed over to the Mumbai Crime Branch, after which they were produced before the court and taken into custody for further interrogation.
