Satish Kaushik, a well-known actor, director, and producer in Bollywood, passed away at the age of 66 on March 9, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of unforgettable roles and films. Satish, who was born in Haryana, was drawn to the glamour and allure of showbiz from a young age. He pursued his passion by studying at the National School of Drama and the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune.

Before making his mark in films, Satish dedicated many years to theatre. He began his film career by assisting Shekhar Kapur in the movie ‘Masoom’ in 1983, which featured Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin Shah. Satish Kaushik gained widespread recognition and admiration for his comedic role as ‘Calendar’ in the hit film ‘Mr India’. His ability to completely immerse himself in his characters was evident throughout his career, earning him roles in other comedies like ‘Saajan Chale Sasural’ and ‘Deewana Mastana’.
