Salman Khan has decided to carry on with his work commitments after the firing incident outside his residence on Sunday, (April 14). Bhaijaan’s decision to carry out his professional commitments despite the gun-firing incident is a clear message. The actor has not reacted, nor has his family, because they do not wish to provide the offenders with “undue attention.” And now, a new report suggests that the Ready actor has asked his celebrity friends not to visit his residence.

According to a report published in India Today, Salman has made the decision to continue pursuing his career goals. A source told India Today.in, “Salman is very much focused on going about his work as planned earlier. He doesn’t want to give attention to those behind this firing incident because he feels that is exactly what they want. Instead, he has asked friends and actors from the industry not to worry. Further, he also asked them not to make any visits to Galaxy Apartments as it is getting inconvenient for other members of the society as well.”
In an interaction with News18, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan had said, “There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry.”

Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, called the actor to confirm his safety. Baba Siddiqui, a politician from Mumbai, also paid him a visit.
