Grusha Kapoor recalled that they waited for almost 10 hours for Salman Khan to show up on set and even when he did, she had to yell at the director to get started.
Actor Grusha Kapoor, who was recently seen in the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, recalled an anecdote about working with Salman Khan in the 1999 film Jaanam Samjha Karo. Grusha had a small role in the movie, and she recalled that the unit waited for Salman Khan for over 10 hours one time. Even after Salman showed up, he starting chit-chatting with the director, leading to more delay. In a chat with YouTuber Siddharth Kannan, Grusha recalled this incident as something “funny.”
The film also starred Urmila Matondkar, and Grusha recalled that she was called to Madh Island for a 9 am shift, for which she reached the location at 8:30 am. By this time, all the other cast members, including Urmila, were also there. “Now all the angles were done, whatever we could do without Salman. Salman was still not there. In the evening, at around 7 or 8 pm, Salman came,” she recalled.
