Sai Pallavi is playing Devi Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana and her remuneration has doubled up, still much lower than Ranbir Kapoor & Yash.

After much speculation, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has commenced the first shoot schedule. Pictures of Arun Govil as Raja Dashrath and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi have also leaked from the sets. Ranbir Kapoor will join the schedule in April, while Sai Pallavi, playing Sita, and Yash, playing Ravana, will join in July.

 

Now, reports suggest that the southern beauty is getting paid a bomb to play Devi Sita on screen. Her remuneration has doubled since her last film. In fact, she might get paid almost 18 – 20 crore for the trilogy.

Currently, Sai Pallavi gets paid 2.5 – 3 crore for every project she stars in the South. For Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, she is getting paid a reported amount of 6 crore for the film. Still, her remuneration is much lower than that of the other two leads, Ranbir Kapoor & Yash.

Will Ranbir Kapoor Earn 225 Crore?

If reports are to be believed, then Ranbir Kapoor is speculated to have paid 75 crore for Ramayana. So he might end up getting paid 225 crore for the trilogy. Meanwhile, his remuneration as Lord Ram will be 2400% higher than that of Sai Pallavi in playing Sita.

Yash Playing Ravana At 150 Crore?

Reports also suggest that Yash is charging 50 crore for one film and a total of 150 crore for the Ramayana trilogy. Sai Pallavi is getting only 6% of Yash’s total paycheck for the film.

Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor has got a 200% hike in his paycheck from Brahmastra. The actor was paid 25 crore for the magnum opus, while he will be charging a whopping 75 crore for Ramayana. His remuneration might also change depending on the success of the first film. Meanwhile, his 225 crore remuneration for a single project might be the highest in the history of Hindi Cinema after Shah Rukh Khan, who paid almost 200 crore for Pathaan after the film’s success.
