MLB Fans Erupt After Analyst Suggests Yankees Are Better Off Without Juan Soto – ‘Ridiculous!

The New York Yankees’ offseason has taken an unexpected turn after missing out on Juan Soto. The superstar outfielder signed a historic contract with the New York Mets and ditched the Yanks. An MLB analyst recently made a bold claim regarding Soto, and it is not going to end anytime soon.

While losing a player of Soto’s caliber is undoubtedly a significant loss, insider Andy Martino thinks otherwise. According to Martino, the Yankees may actually be better off without Soto. Martino suggests that instead of investing a substantial sum in one superstar, the Yankees have strategically allocated their resources to acquire multiple talented players.

“They’re a much better team without Juan Soto. Nestor Cortes was in that spot to pitch to Freddie Freeman in the World Series because Soto’s lack of speed and Gleyber Torres’ poor fundamentals cost them. Now those guys are gone,” Martino said.

The Yankees have made several key acquisitions in what can be viewed as a masterclass in roster management. Their move included All-Stars Max Fried, Devin Williams, Cody Bellinger, and Paul Goldschmidt. Each of these players brings distinct strengths that could synergistically improve the team’s performance across various facets of the game.

Fans Blast MLB Analyst’s Claim That Yankees Are Better Without Juan Soto

Although Martino has put out his perspective, the Yankees went all in for Juan Soto. They tried their best to get him in to make a perfect balance to their roster, but things didn’t work out. However, ever since the MLB analyst openly sided with the Soto-less Yanks, fans could not contain their emotions.

“They don’t even dream of making October, let alone a World Series, without Soto’s bat, particularly the homerun that won them the ALCS. Martino can shill if he wants, and there’s plenty to be excited about next year, but that’s insane talk,” a fan wrote.

“I thought Andy was a Mets guy. Shoutout to him,” another fan wrote.

“The Yankees were only in the World Series because they had Soto, they lost because Judge can’t hit in the postseason and Judge choked a pop fly,” a user commented.

“Drooling, and without Soto’s offense they would not have made it to the World Series,” another comment read.

“I remember Judge being the one that showed poor fundamentals in CF and opening the floodgates. Maybe the full story doesn’t fit with these losers desperately trying to cope with Soto walking. It will take years for them get over that. Soto’s speed? Yikes,” added another one.

“When Torres dropped that line drive and Soto failed to cover first base in Game 5, everyone knew the Yankees needed to move on from them,” a fan wrote.

However, the Yankees have moved on from Soto and are focusing mainly on their offseason strategy. With recent signings on the roster, the lineup is significantly improving.
