In a recent interview, Chopra discussed her experience navigating both worlds, highlighting her passion for storytelling and the thrill of working across diverse film industries.

Chopra’s journey began in India, where she rose to prominence in Bollywood. Then, she set her sights on Hollywood, determined to challenge herself and explore new creative avenues. One of Chopra’s most notable Hollywood appearances was in the TV series Quantico. This role not only established her as a leading actress in American television but also broke stereotypes, showcasing a strong South Asian female protagonist on a global platform.
In her own words, Chopra finds it “very exciting to be able to work in any language and to be able to work in two of the largest film industries in the world.” This enthusiasm is palpable in her performances, where she breathes life into characters and transcends cultural boundaries.

Speaking to PTI recently, Priyanka Chopra said, “For me now, it’s almost been 10 years. But it’s been a while since I’ve been straddling this. For more than 10 years, almost 12 years, I’ve been straddling both industries in both worlds. It’s very exciting to me to be able to work in any language and to be able to work in two of the largest film industries in the world, which are Bollywood and Hollywood. I love my job and I love the medium that I’ve been given, which is arts and to tell stories and to move people.”
Beyond Quantico, Chopra continued to expand her repertoire in Hollywood. She appeared in films like Baywatch alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. She also took on roles in movies like A Kid Like Jake, Isn’t It Romantic and Love Again.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra has an array of projects in the pipeline – Ending Things with Anthony Mackie, The Bluff with The Boys actor Karl Urban, turning narrator for documentary Tiger on Disney+ Hotstar, Citadel season 2, Heads of State with John Cena and Idris Elba and Jee Le Zaraa, by Farhan Akhtar, starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
