Priyamani Says Shah Rukh Khan Had A 'Car Of Bodyguards' Follow Her And Jawan Co-stars For Safety At 4 Am

Actress Priyamani, who shared the screen with Shah Rukh Khan in the recent film Jawan, has offered a glimpse into her heartwarming experiences working alongside the Bollywood icon not once, but twice. Reflecting on her interactions with SRK, Priyamani lauded his humility, warmth, and respectful demeanor towards everyone on set.

In a candid interview with Galatta Plus, Priyamani shared insights into her first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan during the filming of Jawan. Recounting the memorable encounter, she revealed, “I met him on the sets of Jawan. So we shot the train sequence first, the Metro sequence. So when we were shooting in Film City, we got a call at about 7. We were shooting from 6 in the evening to 6 in the morning. I guess Shah Rukh likes shooting at night. So does Atlee sir.”

Priyamani fondly recalled the surprise visit from SRK on the first day of shooting, noting that the actor’s graciousness left a lasting impression on her and her co-stars. She described the heartwarming moment when Shah Rukh personally greeted each member of the cast, expressing gratitude for their involvement in the project. “What else do you need? I mean, when he says, ‘Thank you so much. I’m so happy you guys are part of the film,’ I said, ‘Sir, anything for you’,” Priyamani shared, highlighting SRK’s genuine appreciation for his colleagues.

Furthermore, Priyamani shared an anecdote showcasing Shah Rukh Khan’s thoughtfulness and consideration for his co-workers’ well-being. She recounted an incident during Atlee sir’s birthday celebration in Chennai, where Shah Rukh went above and beyond to ensure the safety of Priyamani and her fellow actresses. “He actually had a car of bodyguards follow us up till the hotel because there was a good distance of about 45 minutes to about an hour. So he made the car follow us. We said, ‘You can go.’ They said, ‘No, these are special instructions given by Sir. We have to see you off,'” Priyamani revealed.
