Olivia Dunne was back at it on Monday after watching the LSU Tigers baseball team secure passage to the College World Series with a win against Wake Forest.
The Tigers won their seventh national championship with a strong 18-4 victory over Florida following a Game 2 loss, breaking a tie with Texas for the second-most baseball college championships.
“Right people. Right place. Right time,” head coach Jay Johnson told ESPN after the win. “This was the way it’s supposed to go. And probably more impressive than winning the national championship is they were national champions every single day from the first meeting until the last pitch tonight.”
It’s been quite the year for the university. While the gymnastics program couldn’t claim first-place honors, the basketball and baseball programs are both celebrating national championships. And they’ve been getting massive support from Olivia.
The gymnast has taken to TikTok to show a bit of her celebration from Game 3 on the back of the win and it has since gone viral. You could check it out right below:
The video has already garnered close to 800,000 views, with over 122,000 likes coming in.
Livvy will hope to be celebrating her own triumphs when 2024 rolls around and she will be sure to let us all in on the festivities should that turn out to be the case.
