The Games Of Thrones actress cuddled up to a cast iron statue on Crosby Beach after braving the cold when she dipped her toes into the sea.
Emilia wrapped up warm in a ribbed roll neck jumper and long white padded coat, while wearing a black beanie atop her head and paddling barefoot in the water’s edge.
The star wrote alongside her snaps: ‘One ferry across the Mersey and i managed to bag myself a stone cold fox… Liverpool you done stole my heart, and my toes.
She added the captions: ‘#sorrynotsorryforthedadjoke #buthesarealgoodlistener #seadipnotadvised.’
Another Place is a piece of modern sculpture by Sir Antony Gormley, which comprises 100 cast iron naked figures facing towards the sea.
It’s thought that Emilia is in the UK ahead of her turn on stage in The Seagull at the Harold Pinter Theatre between 29th June and 10th September 2022.
The actress was thrust onto the worldwide stage when she starred in Game of Thrones where she played the role of Daenerys Targaryen, Mother Of Dragons.
Emilia – who is currently thought to be single – previously dated American film director Charlie McDowell for over a year after they met in 2018.
He became engaged to Lily Collins in September 2020, and the couple went on to marry in Mexico a year later.
Back in 2012 Emilia dated Family Guy actor Seth MacFarlane, but the pair split just a year later.
She was also linked to actor James Franco in June 2013 after they were spotted visiting an art fair together in New York.
In 2015, Emilia was linked to Australian actor Jai Courtney after meeting on the set of Terminator Genysis.
