After cricket buffs were left amazed by MS Dhoni and Gautam Gambhir’s hug, Bollywood fans were also treated with quite a similar reunion. For those who have missed it, actress Neha Dhupia dropped some snippets from the Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings match. Fans were left surprised when they saw none other than Kareena Kapoor Khan and John Abraham sharing the frame after years of cold war.

While some fans couldn’t stop gushing over Kareena’s glamorous demeanour while she was applying lipstick during the match, others were left wondering if the cold war between her and the Garam Masala actor was finally over. A user wrote in the comments, “Karina nd john in same frame.” Another added, “Zindagi khalaas wala pose jhon and kreena” A third comment read, “Am i the only one who’s watching John Abraham in these pictures instead of neha.”

For those who do not remember, back in 2007, Kareena Kapoor appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan along with her then-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor. The Kabir Singh actor claimed in a segment that John is an actor she never wants to work with. While the actress was shocked at Shahid dropping the name, she later revealed in the Rapid Fire round why she doesn’t want to work with John. “Because he is expressionless”, Kareena quipped.

Later when John appeared with his then-girlfriend Bipasha Basu on the talk show in the same season, the Raaz actress replied to Kareena. “She is someone with too many expressions,” Bipasha revealed. The two actresses who had starred in the 2001 thriller film Ajnabee, reportedly didn’t get along on the sets.

On the work front

Speaking about their professional endeavours, Kareena recently starred in the film Crew alongside starlets Kriti Sanon, Tabu and Diljit Dosanjh. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has minted Rs 122 crore worldwide. She will be next seen in Singham Again and The Buckingham Murders. Speaking of John, the actor played the antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 film Pathaan. He will also feature in the film Vedaa alongside Sharvari Wagh. He will also be seen in the film Tehran.
