Juice WRLD joins Eminem to sing Godzilla at Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Event, draws mixed reactions

The Fortnite Chapter 5 Event drew mixed reactions despite having Eminem bringing back Juice WRLD to sing Godzilla

Fortnite players were all waiting in line to get a seat in teh virtual arena where Eminem was going to have his concert. The popular videogame’s Chapter 5 event took place on Saturday and the Eminem concert is what everybody was expecting. A virtual reality Eminem concert that had never taken place before was going to compete with other great events such as the Travis Scott Fortnite concert, which is still considered the best event in Fortnite’s history. Although this Eminem event was also pretty spectacular, fans were utterly disappointed for how short it was. The famous rapper performed for a little under 2 minutes and only played two songs from his repertoir.

The biggest surprise of this short but sweet event was when Eminem started performing his Godzilla hit song from 2020’s ‘Music to be Murdered By’ album. A song that features the late great Juice WRLD. Eminem became a kaiju version of himself while he sang this hit song that also features the late rapper. That’s when people who were witnessing the live Fortnite event lost their minds. But then again, folks were disappointed at how short-lived the concert was. Compared to Travis Scott’s 9-minute event, this was nothing.

After the event was over, fans were pleasantly surprised by the level of production but they obviously would’ve liked it if the concert ran for many more minutes than it actually did. You can watch the full Fortnite Chapter 5 Big Bang event down below, all 13 minutes of it that include the Eminem X Juice WRLD event. Enjoy!
