Jack Harlow is back on top of the charts thanks to his new single “Lovin On Me” which currently sits at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The OZ-produced single soared to the apex of the Hot 100 this week, giving the Louisville native his third No. 1 hit of his career.
Taking to Twitter/X to react to the news, Harlow wrote: “Preciate it!” While on Instagram he teased that his hit-making talents weren’t stopping there. “Warming up. More coming,” he said.
The 25-year-old lost his Hot 100 virginity when Lil Nas X’s “INDUSTRY BABY” topped the chart back in 2021, and then he earned a solo No. 1 with the ubiquitous Fergie-sampling “First Class” a year later.
Jack Harlow’s latest chart feat means he joins Drake and Taylor Swift as the only artists to earn No. 1 hits in each of the last three years.
The viral “Lovin On Me” springboarded from No.2 to No.1 after compiling 23.6 million streams and selling 11,000 downloads in the November 17 to November 23 tracking week, per Luminate.
It appears Harlow could be in album mode with the rapper teasing “more coming” and Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett teasing another anthem on the way before 2023 expires.
“I think one more song before the year’s over isn’t a bad idea,” Bennett wrote.
“Lovin On Me” was included as part of Jack Harlow’s Thanksgiving Day halftime perfor
However, the Ford Field performance was widely ridiculed by viewers which began with Harlow emerging from a faux igloo and walking along a white tarp to mimic snow with his photographer Urban Wyatt.
Following the performance, Jack Harlow wrote on his Instagram Stories: “On some real shit the main thing that pushed me to say yes to this Thanksgiving halftime show aside from the opportunity itself is how much family I have in Detroit and all the times I spent growing up visiting the city.
“I kid you not my great-great-grandfather had a heart attack and passed away in the stands at the Lions Thanksgiving game in the 1960s and I’m not even bullshittin so you know I had to bring it home for bro.”
