Drake has been linked to a plethora of high-profile women during his career, including Rihanna, Hailey Bieber Jennifer Lopez, and also has a young son from a previous fling.

As one of the most well-known musicians in the world, Drake has also had his fair share of female adoration and relationships in the spotlight.

In fact, the 36 year old has been so inspired in the name of love that back in December 2022, he created a necklace with 42 engagement ring diamonds for all the times he was hoping to propose but never got down on bended knee. And there have been various names in the mix when it comes to the Canadian superstar dating or having been rumoured to be dating.

Drake’s complicated relationship history has seen a famously on/off romance with Rihanna, and he also shares a son with Sophie Brussaux. Meanwhile, his high-profile status doesn’t come without its speculation, and he has been linked to names such as Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez and even Kylie Jenner. So, here’s a quick look at Drake’s relationship history.

Rihanna

You cannot think of Drake’s love life without thinking of Rihanna, who is now loved up with A$AP Rocky.

The pair had an on/off romance for a decade after first meeting on the set of her Pon de Replay music video.

Following years of cosy sightings and reports of being together, Drake confirmed that he and Rihanna were a couple at the MTV VMAs in 2015, where he famously revealed he loved Rihanna for years.

“I’ve been in love with her since I was 22,” Drake told the crowd at the time.

The following year they collaborated on the song Work. However, by May 2018, Rihanna confirmed they were no longer together, telling Vogue: “We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either.”

SZA

Drake shocked his fans when he claimed he and SZA were previously together in his 2021 song Mr Right Now. His lyrics included: “Yeah, said she wanna f*** to some SZA, wait / ‘Cause I used to date SZA back in ’08.”

However, SZA went on to confirm that he got their dating timeline wrong, tweeting: “So It was actually 2009 lol … in this case a year of poetic rap license mattered lol.

“I think he jus innocently rhymed 08 w wait. Anybody who really knows me and was around during this time can confirm … it’s all love all peace.”

Speaking of her romance with Drake, she told Audacy last year: “We’re cool, we’ve always been cool. It’s never been weird. Anytime he’s ever mentioned me, it’s always been positive. He never said anything negative about me, and I’m grateful for that. I think really highly of him. I’m an artist now, I wasn’t then, and he’s King Drake!”

Sophie Brussaux

Drake was first linked to former porn star turned-artist Sophie in January 2017. When she later announced she was pregnant after their short romance ended, Drake denied it.

A representative for the star said at the time: “If it’s, in fact, Drake’s child, which he does not believe it is, he will do right by the child. She’s just another woman in a long line of women claiming he got them pregnant.”

Before going public with news that he’d become a dad, Drake was called out by fellow rapper Pusha T – who accused the star of hiding his secret son because of Sophie’s previous job.

In the 2018 track The Story of Adidon, Pusha T told Drake to “forget she’s a porn star” and embrace his little boy. He rapped: “You are hiding a child, let that boy come home. Deadbeat mothaf***a, playin’ border patrol, ooh.

“Adonis is your son. And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real. Love that baby, respect that girl. Forget she’s a porn star, let her be your world, yuugh!”

A DNA test later confirmed that little Adonis was his son.

Jennifer Lopez

Drake and J-Lo were first rumoured to be an item after working together on a collaboration in December 2016.

The pair even celebrated New Year’s Eve together, where the rapper gifted the Hustlers star a $100,000 Tiffany necklace.

However, two months later, their relationship fizzled out, with a source at the time saying: “It was never very serious. They like one another and had fun together.

“It was and is fun when they see each other. They love hanging out and making music together. [Jennifer] has great respect for him and his talent, and he does for her as well.”

Tyra Banks

Back in 2012, Drake enjoyed a date with supermodel Tyra Banks to Disneyland.

“I went on a date with her one time, yeah,” he told Ellen Degeneres the following year. “We went to Disneyland in disguise, actually, which was fun. I don’t know if it was a date. It was a get-together. We’re close as well.”

The pair remained good friends, with the former ANTM host appearing in Drake’s Child’s Play music video.

Julia Fox

Julia Fox may be well-known for her short-lived romance with rapper Kanye West, but she also enjoyed a brief fling with Drake.

Speaking about Drake in her Forbidden Fruits last year, she said: “He’s a great guy and a gentleman, and that was it. Nothing really happened. We were just, like, friends hanging out.

“I wouldn’t say that we were dating,” she added.

Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner was rumoured to be involved with Drake in 2019 during her break from Travis Scott.

The relationship was casual from the get-go, with one source telling PEOPLE: “He and Kylie have been spending time together recently. They’ve been friends for a long time, and Drake is very close to the family.

Kylie and Drake never became an official item, with the make-up mogul now a mother to Travis’ two children Stormi and Aire.

Hailey Bieber

Before she tied the knot with Justin Bieber, Hailey was speculated to be involved with Drake, with the pair being seen together at his Memorial Day party as well as other sightings at Hollywood eateries.

Like Kylie, their romance never came around, and Hailey was swept off her feet by Justin.
