Their animosity garnered a lot of media attention, with both of them throwing shade at each other. At times, fans thought the two might reconcile, but their feud didn’t see an end soon. However, later on, the two did mend things and apparently resolved their differences.
Chris Brown and Drake’s feud over Rihanna saw various ugly turns
Pop singer Rihanna has had a high profile dating history, that includes renowned names like Chris Brown and Drake. Though her link-up with these two singers has been a thing of the past, the feud between Rihanna’s ex-lovers, lasted longer than their relationships. According to US Weekly, Rihanna’s first serious relationship was with Chris Brwon which began in 2008.
The couple dated for a year, and later parted ways as Brown allegedly physically assaulted Rihanna. Following their breakup, Rihanna shortly linked with Drake, and according to Page Six, the two were seen kissing in New York.

Although, at that time, the two didn’t make their relationship official. But by that time, the feud between Brown and Drake had already ignited. In 2012, they got into a wrangle at a nightclub in New York City (via New York Post) apparently over Rihanna.
Later in 2012, Rihanna and Brown rekindled their romance, just to slip again months later. Though Brown’s relationship ended with Rihanna, his feud with Drake persisted. During a conversation with radio station Hot 97 in 2015, Brown threw shades on Drake saying, (via Billboard),
“We’re not getting no check from talking about dude. We’re giving him all this pub. We’re us. I can’t keep making these motherf***ers famous. I’m responsible for reviving a lot of careers,”
Drake retaliated to this remark by swapping “Energy” lyrics from “I got rap n—-s that I gotta act like I like” to “I got R&B n—-s that I gotta act like I like.”
At that time, their feud certainly didn’t see any signs of ending, but things did pacify between them.
Chris Brown and Drake’s beef finally ended
Years later during an interview, (via Nickiswift) Brown discussed the incident and stated that he has moved on from his past feuds. He said,

Drake
“I’m not saying I will come with all the smoke, but I really don’t have no problem with all the smoke. I ain’t even tryin’ to be tough, none of that. It was just a misunderstanding on both ends. I ain’t going into too many details. It’s funny now, but as far as that, blood, he good. He straight.”
Infact in 2018, Drake gifted Brown a jacket which led to a clothing collaboration between the two later, marking an end to their years-long feud.
