Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington played significant characters in one of the biggest TV show franchises ever, Game of Thrones. Their characters, Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow, had interesting character trajectories throughout the span of eight seasons. Their story also included being romantically involved with each other.

Game of Thrones had many highlights, including its excellent world-building, but the fans also remember it for the amount of nudity in the series. So, when the romance between Daenerys and Jon Snow became a part of the plot, fans knew, a few intimate scenes would be soon coming their way. That did happen, but shooting one of those scenes got really uncomfortable for Clarke and her brother.

Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington, in multiple instances, have recounted how shooting intimate scenes together was hard for them, as the two had developed a close bond, working together for years. But for Clarke, things were a little more uncomfortable as her real brother too was a part of the production of the HBO series.\

The actress shared an uncomfortable instance where she was shooting a s-x scene with Kit Harington, while her own brother was on camera duty. She revealed at the Superhero ComicCon and Car Show (shared by via @smoakclarke on Twitter):

I do remember the day, our s-x scene day, and my brother was in the camera department that day. … And he was on set that day. He came and said to [Harington] like, ‘Mate, you gotta get me out of here!’

So, her brother reached out to Kit Harington to help him get out of filming the scene of his sister having s-x with the Jon Snow actor.

For Emilia Clarke, getting to star in Game of Thrones boosted her career and brought her immense fame. But she wasn’t the only member of her family who was part of the expansive series. Her brother was on the camera crew. Though it would have been a great experience for the siblings, the show was full of nudity, so the Marvel actress had to make sure her brother wasn’t on set on the days they were filming the scenes.

The actress shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, “He’s in the camera department, which is brilliant. It’s amazing.” But on days, she has an intimate scene, she states,

“So there are some days where he’s like, ‘Oh, I’ll swing by,’ because he’s literally in the next unit that’s filming next door,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Nah, it’s good! I’m good! You can stay there!’ ”

She also added that her brother would be more embarrassed if he had to be a part of the camera crew that shot the scenes. This is quite evident in the request he made to Kit Harington when he did end up on set to shoot the scene.
