San Antonio Spurs fans boo Kawhi Leonard aggressively every time he touches the ball, and have been doing so since he was traded.
Gregg Popovich was having none of Spurs fans and their actions on Wednesday night.
The San Antonio Spurs coach had seen enough of the home fans booing Kawhi Leonard so he decided to do something about it.
Popovich jumped on the microphone and urged fans to stop booing while Leonard was at the free-throw line.
Leonard helped deliver a championship to San Antonio, winning Finals MVP in 2014, but his divorce with the organization was not a smooth one.
Booing Kawhi is something fans have been doing in San Antonio since he forced his way out a few years ago.
Fans typically boo anybody on the opposing team at the free throw line, so that booing would’ve been just fine, but clearly Popovich thought it was something else to it.
