Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas may have opened up a can of worms with one of his most recent revelations.
Arenas claims to have overheard former film producer Harvey Weinstein speaking to some other Hollywood honchos about sleeping with actress Halle Berry in exchange for major movie roles back in the early 2000s.
“2003-2004, I went to the playoff series and Halle Berry is walking by,” Arenas said in a Twitch stream. “I’m like, ‘Oh sh*t, Halle Berry, bro. Fine!’ And there was like four or five white dudes sitting there.
“Now, Harvey Weinstein was one of them. I’m not in the front. There’s the front row, and then there was a little space and then the first row after that, so like the second row. And they were sitting there talking about, ‘Oh, now she’s acting like she doesn’t know us? S-, she wasn’t saying that when she needed that part.’”
While he didn’t reveal what else they said, the former point guard claimed that all of the men involved in the conversation slept with Halle as he expressed disgust.
“Every single one of them hit,” he declared. “I was like, ‘Noo, not her. Noo, not them. Yuck! Damn, they got The Berry. And I don’t really know when people seen the Harvey Weinstein and all that, and the Bill Cosby, and pills, and… How do you think them ugly mother F-s was getting the H-s? You think they was getting the H-s off their looks?
“Nooo. They gotta promise S-. ‘Yeah, I’ll get you a part in this and this and this.’ That’s how all of them… There’s only a few stand-up N-s in there. Like 50 Cent, because he was famous first. Now, he’s in Hollywood. He already has his power. So, he don’t have to do nothing.”
Weinstein was found guilty of rape and other crimes in 2020. He was staring at the possibility of 29 years in prison as the maximum sentence for a criminal sexual act is 25 years while rape carries a max of four years in prison.
He was sentenced to 23 years in March 2020.
The 71-year-old is now facing up to 39 years in prison as he has since been hit with a 16-year sentence over sex offenses in California.
