‘His dates all line up and if they can get him on board, it will be the first time he has ever played at the festival.

‘Eminem is one of the greatest rappers on the planet and to have him down on the farm would be incredible.

‘There is also a huge nostalgia factor with Eminem. He has been around for over 25 years and everyone knows his music.

‘It would be a really special moment, not just for him but for everyone at the festival. The organisers think he will sign on the dotted line and they can get things moving’.

ARTIC MONKEYS

The Arctic Monkeys have headlined the Pyramid Stage twice before, making it likely they will return.

Rumours began that they would be making it third time the charm after Sheffield band revealed their hugely-anticipated UK and Ireland tour dates.

Eagle-eyed fans noticing a convenient gap between two dates in June, that would fit a Glastonbury slot.

And with their latest album ‘The Car’ dropping, there is a high chance the band could be returning for another shot.

A source also told The Sun:  ‘Alex Turner and the band are coming back to Glastonbury, and this time their set is going to be even bigger and better.

‘The lads have signed on the dotted line and will return to the Pyramid Stage next June. It is really special for them to be doing a hat-trick on that stage and it is something they have wanted to do for a while.

‘After the festival dates lined up with their upcoming tour they said they couldn’t not play there again. The band are in the process of putting together their team and are working on making their performance one of Glastonbury’s most memorable.’

HARRY STYLES

After Harry announced his UK and Europe tour dates for next year, one TikTok sleuth posted a video drawing attention to a gap.

Atlanta Cobb said: ‘This week, Harry announced a 2023 run of new stadium shows next summer.

Harry Styles’ fan claims singer will be headlining Glastonbury 2023

Singling out the Cardiff show on Tuesday, June 20, and the Werchter, Belgium show on Saturday, June 24, Atlanta continued: ‘To me, these tour dates just scream ‘Glastonbury headliner’, not only that, ‘Friday’s Glastonbury headliner’ and that is because he is playing in Cardiff on the 20th of June, and then he’s not playing any shows until the 24th of June. And when is Glastonbury next year?’

Showing a Google search confirming that Glastonbury will be taking place between June 23 and June 25 next year, Atlanta continued: ‘Oh ho! Just when he’s not playing any shows, isn’t that funny? Isn’t that funny, eh?’

However, other fans pointed out the As It Was hitmaker could just be needing a break in between shows.

GUNS N’ ROSES

Guns N’ Roses have shockingly never performed at Glastonbury, but are heavily favoured for a 2023 showing.

Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis, said in 2021, Guns N’ Roses ‘need to play here at some point’.

She also revealed the booking of Metallica as the first heavy band to headline in 2014 ‘helped inspire us to book more heavy rock acts’.

Additionally, guitarist Slash previously confirmed the group would be releasing new music this year, making 2023 the prime time to debut at Glastonbury.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS

Rumours that Robbie Williams would perform at Glastonbury next year were given more credence when he was announced as a headliner at Isle of Wight Festival 2023.

He will be making his debut on the Sunday on the main stage the week before Glastonbury.

When announced he said: ‘There is something magic about a British festival…us Brits know how to bring the energy.’

The singer performed at one of the wettest festivals in Glastonbury history in 1998 and said he would love to return to the event again.

Asked if he would be up for performing in the legends slot at the Worthy Farm event, Robbie said: ‘Yeah, that’d be cool. Actually, I’d like to do that. I’d like another go round on that stage and feel that audience and get the chance to do it.’

He quipped: ‘The Spice Girls trumps a Robbie Williams, so maybe I’ll have to wait’.

He added of Glastonbury: ‘It is the epicentre of the music world for that weekend. Everybody’s watching, everybody’s got their eyes on it.

‘And that kind of thing doesn’t exist these days because music on TV has died a death and music being a potent, viable thing that gets you to sit down on a Thursday night at seven o’clock for a half an hour now doesn’t exist. So yeah, it’s a big deal.’

TAYLOR SWIFT

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest artists in the world right now, and is hot on the heels of release of her album Midnights, so would be primed for a spot at Worthy Farm.

Adding fuel to the fire that she will be at Glastonbury 2023, she was originally scheduled to headline the festival in 2020 before the event was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Back in December 2019, Taylor said she was ‘ecstatic’ to be headlining the Pyramid Stage.

She reportedly turned down appearing at this year’s festival as the ‘timing wasn’t right’.

A source told Capital FM: ‘Of course, she would absolutely love to headline at some point. It is still on her bucket list but performing isn’t her priority right now.

‘She has old albums which she is still working on re-recording and getting those finished is her priority.’

PULP

One of the most strongly rumoured artists to appear on the 2023 line up are Pulp, who last played a surprise set at Glastonbury in 2011.

But the band haven’t performed together since December 2012 where they played a homecoming gig in Sheffield.

However, frontman Jarvis Cocker, who played a solo set at Glastonbury last year, has been dropping hints.

He shared a cryptic Instagram post back in July asking: ‘What exactly do you do for an encore?’

And he also shared a list of tour dates for the band that included a gap between 9th June in Dublin and 1st July in London, leaving plenty of time for a Worthy Farm slot.

She said that the other bandmembers, Mel B, Mel C and Geri Horner would be down, and that even Victoria Beckham would agree for the legendary festival.

She said: ‘I hope so! Can I be real? No one’s asked us! I read it as well this week saying, “Oh, we’ve asked them. We’re quite far down”. All of us have been on the phone like… no one’s asked us!’

Emma went on to tell Keith she ‘doesn’t know’ where the rumour came from but is ‘hoping’ it is true and someone will be in contact soon.

She continued: ‘I don’t know! I think it would be fab. And I have spoken to Victoria about it too. And I think she’d be up for Glasto.’

However, Victoria soon quashed fans’ hopes after she was asked about the Glasto rumours on Watch What Happens Live.

She said: ‘I had so much fun being in the Spice Girls – but now, with everything else that I have got going on with my fashion and my beauty line, four children, I couldn’t commit to that.

‘I love the girls. I really, really enjoy singing Spice Girls when I’m doing karaoke, but I think I’d better leave it there.’
