Numerous well-known figures have gathered in Saudi Arabia in anticipation of Tyson Fury’s crossover match against Francis Ngannou on “Bаttle of the Baddest.”
One of the most anticipated fights of the year is scheduled to take place in Riyadh on Saturday night between the Gypsy King and a former professional mixed martial artist.
Additionally, a gala dinner was held on Friday night on the eve of Fury-Ngannou, where a number of well-known figures from the sports world were photographed together. The most well-known of these was Cristiano Ronaldo, who moved to Saudi Arabia after joining Al-Nassr last year. Ronaldo was seen mingling with Fury backstage.
Rio Ferdinand, his former Manchester United teammate, was also present at the gala.
Prior to his figҺt with Fury, Mike Tyson has been coaching Ngannou, and the former boxer was also present at the dinner.
The Brazilian Ronaldo, who is now keeping himself busy as the owner and chairman of Real Valladolid, a second-tier Spanish football team, was seen with Tyson.
Oleksandr Usyk, who last month struck a deal to figҺt Fury for the undisputed world heavyweight title later this year, was also there at the event and gave Fury an unannounced hug during the evening.
Several other prominent boxers were also featured in the photos, such as Ricky Hatton, the former world champion at light and welterweight divisions.
The Britishman currently works as a trainer and promoter, and his professional lightweight fighter son, Campbell, fights.
Renowned American rapper Eminem was also seen having fun while posing for pictures with Ngannou.
The 51-year-old, however, didn’t look like the celebrity he was in his prime because he had a ponytail and was wearing a cap.
Tomorrow night, there will likely be many more well-known figures present. Following an exciting undercard, Fury and Ngannou’s ringwalks are scheduled for roughly 10:30 PM.
