ESPN, FOX, and Warner Bros. have announced that they are coming together to launch a sports streaming service this year that is likely to have a massive impact on sports television as we know it.

The platform, which is still nameless,  will give sports fans a new way to access sports content and will be managed by a newly formed company, with Disney, FOX, and Warner Bros. Discovery to each own a one-third stake.

Users would be able to subscribe to the service via the app itself and can bundle it with Disney+, Hulu, and Max, which are owned by the aforementioned companies.

The new service, expected to launch this fall, will present all of the broadcast and cable networks owned by Disney, FOX, and Warner Bros. Discovery that show sports, as well as ESPN+.

On the Disney end, all of the ESPN networks and the ABC broadcast network would be available, while FOX will offer FS1, FS2, BTN, plus the Fox broadcast station. TNT, TBS, and TruTV will be accessible through Warner Bros. Discovery.

ESPN still plans to offer a direct streaming service that it plans to launch either this year or next year, though Disney is still conducting research.
