It appears that Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry will soon have the same number of children as NBA championships.
Curry’s wife Ayesha, an actress and author, announced that she is pregnant with the couple’s fourth child Friday in an essay for her publication Sweet July.
“For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done. We said, ‘Three, that’s it, we’re not doing this again,’” she said. “And then, last year, we looked at each other and agreed we wanted to do this again.”

The Currys have three children—daughters born in 2012 and 2015 and a son born in 2018.
In her essay, Ayesha candidly addressed the experience of becoming pregnant in her mid-30s.
“I think there’s something that needs to be more nuanced when it comes to women, their age, and conversations around having children,” she said. “Many women in their 30s and 40s are going through this for the first time, and being told you’re ‘old’ feels alarming and wild. I think the narrative needs to be shifted a little bit.”
Stephen, in the midst of his 15th NBA season, is averaging 27.6 points per game for a 31–27 Warriors team.
