Aamir Khan's Old Interview Attacks Animal Kinda Film!

 

Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ is having a monstrous run at the box office.

However, while many are heaping praise on the movie, some are even criticising the gritty crime thriller for showing extreme violence, toxic masculinity, and bold content. Amid these mixed reviews, an old video of Aamir Khan has surfaced on social media, where he spoke against the use of sex and violence in films.

In the clip from an interview, Aamir said, ‘There are a few emotions that are very easy to provoke the audience with, like violence and s**. These two emotions can easily get provoked in a human being.’ He added, ‘If the directors are not so talented in creating a story, in showing emotions and creating situations, they tend to depend heavily on violence and sex to make their films work.’ Popularly tagged as Mr. Perfectionist, Aamir also mentioned that by doing so, the movie might become successful but harmful to society.

‘The audience and youngsters who watch our films, there is an impact on them…I’m not saying, ‘There should be no violence in films’. It depends on the subject. There are ways of showing it’, said the ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ actor. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
