New York Yankee captain Aaron Judge has been one of the most electrifying players in the league over the last decade. Since stepping foot in the league in 2016, the outfielder has amassed a plethora of awards and distinctions, highlighted by his two American League MVP Awards.
In an Instagram post by card maker Topps, it honored the reigning AL MVP by making him the cover of the 2025 Topps Series 1 set of cards. In the video, Judge was surprised by the announcement that was narrated by director Spike Lee and a message from last year’s series cover, Braves star Ronald Acuña Jr.
The Series 1 set is the most popular set that Topps produce every year, as it’s a remembrance of the new season beckoning. The cards are set to be released on February 12, just in line with the start of Spring Training.
Aaron Judge has previously featured in other Topps series, like the 2023 Series 2 and 2022 Heritage. However, this is the star outfielder’s biggest feature yet, as he will be the face of the most anticipated line.
The Yankee captain has been on the roll, especially in the past few seasons. Apart from his MVP honors, Judge has shone as one of the best hitters in MLB. Since 2021, the outfield star has smashed 196 home runs to go along with a mind-boggling 31.9 fWAR.
Last year, Aaron Judge along with Juan Soto, led the Yankees to their first series appearance since 2009. Although they eventually fell short to the Los Angeles Dodgers, it’s a welcome sign for fans clamoring for the Bombers to restore their dominance during the early 2000s.
Aaron Judge confirms wife’s pregnancy
Amid all the accolades and honors that Yankee captain Aaron Judge has received in the past few years comes the news of his wife Samantha Bracksieck’s pregnancy.
Judge posted a round-up of his 2024 and on the forefront was a photo of him and his wife Samantha. Celebrity mind reader Devonte Rosero left a comment on the post, to which the Yankee captain had a humorous response.

Although not explicitly stated on the post, Page Six confirmed that the Judge couple are expecting their first child.
